Unread post by Max508 »

Hi guys,

First of all thanks for whom for your kind help to solve my issues.. the car headlight have “Dynamic Headlamp Faulty” message and the dash lights icon is blinking, the headlight directional functions are not working.. when using Diagbox check and self test, the motor up down and left right test are all ok,

Had try to swap to a borrowed new headlamp assembly to test out. The error code disappear and the functionality all perfect.

As for my own faulty unit headlamp the error code shown as below

The fault code capture is:

Dynamic headlamp height adjuster

B1102
LIN connection fault between the master ECU and the left-hand headlamp
Properties
Cause

Characterisation of the fault

Permanent
Not characterised
List of associated variables
Communication error
Fault in the LIN connection between the master ECU and the right-hand

B1131
headlamp
Properties
Cause
Status
Characterisation of the fault
List of associated variables
Communication error

Appreciated who can help out how to solve the issue.

Thanks a lot

Welcome along

Give that it works with a test headlamp, you appear to have the answer. Question I suppose is whether you need 1 or 2, and if so which is faulty - but if you do a swap you should be able to figure it out.

Hi, thanks to you that give me a clue.. I will perform re-test by swap 1 unit each side to cater down which headlamp is the faulty then to further check right? Will update again on the finding. Thanks

Hi Richard,
Thanks for your given clue, tested and is the left side headlamp faulty. Had check the headlamp housing internal wire fracture & damage due to hot ambiance and aging. Not sure the rebuild wiring worth to try out or the headlamp ecu module had malfunctions due to damage wiring. Anyone have try out can just advise me.. Thanks
