RESTORING MAPS TO MY C4 2023

Hi. I have a two year old C4 2023 model. I updated my maps in 2023 no problem. In January this year, I only chose to update a selection of maps that I thought I would need, to reduce the upload time. I was instructed that the other maps would be removed, but I could re-upload these later. I now need Italy & Switzerland. I re-uploaded the Citroen Update Tool, to download the maps again to my USB pen, but as there were no map updates available for my car, I cannot proceed with restoring my missing maps. Citroen help centre cannot help & my dealer cannot even consider the problem at present as he is overwhelmed with Citroen airbag recalls. I drive to Italy in mid August. Can anyone help please?.

Yes, thanks very much. That document was my starting point for using the Citroen update tool, which I have used before. Unfortunately if the software tool detects that the maps in the car are up to date, all further options are greyed out and I am not able to download.any of my other maps.

That is a pain, presumably when they release the next update you will be able to update the whole lot but in the meantime perhaps a portable satnav for Europe will have to suffice?

When our 308 touch screen was not working I used an old Garmin sat nav for a while. Although it was about 10 years old I could still update it to the latest maps on the Garmin site. The 308 was fixed 2 months ago and the latest maps put on it but these are not as up to date as the Garmin ones. A relative lives in a new estate built 1 to 2 years ago, it is on the Garmin but not the 308 so Stellantis are not updating maps that frequently.
