Possibly but it's more likely to be the fusebox continuing to supply power to the motor.
As I get older I think a lot about the hereafter - I go into a room and then wonder what I'm here after.

I never thought of that. And of course, that could cause the headlights to be coming on themselves randomly when the van is off, possibly?

That's a lot of things to test out I'm afraid!
As I get older I think a lot about the hereafter - I go into a room and then wonder what I'm here after.

I don't know the layout so it might not be possible but I suppose I'd try taking the motor out or at least disconnecting the linkage to see if the wipers will then move. It then depends on what you find. See if the motor is seized. Inspect the fusebox.
