DS5 Washer Bottle

Unread post by TheFrenchCarGuy »

Hi All

I've noticed the when filling up the window washer bottle under the bonnet, water is leaking out under the car. It seems to hold some water so I'm wondering if as my car has headlamp washers are there 2 places the car holds the water? One for the windows and the other for the headlights? Anyone know how I can remove or access the water bottle to take a look?

Thanks

I don't know the answer but this diagram may help you figure it out: :) https://citroendirectparts.co.uk/produc ... reservoir/

Thank you for that. The link is for petrol, I'm hoping the diesel one is the same. I'll have a go and taking it out and see what I can see. Thanks again.

In my limited experience, there is a single reservoir but when headlamp washers are fitted it is of much greater capacity. This means that there are two pumps on the reservoir and thus two points at which you can have a leak.

Being petrol or diesel makes no difference normally.
