can anyone point me to instructions to get to the temp sensor in the mirror of a 308 [2008 year]
its showing incorrect reading and will need replacing

1. tilt mirror all the way down
2. push with a thin plastic tool behind the glass when looking from above
3. mirror should pop out it is held by small plastic hooks
4. you should see the sensor in the bottom part of the housing
5. cut the wire and splice in new sensor

Those instructions don't seem right for a 308..
I replaced the temperature sensor on ours last year and wenyin from the other side by removing the painted cover, but I broke one of the clips, so not entirely happy.
