Re: Please can you help change my light bulb I'm having a hell of the time
Thank you for the videos I had looked at them before however none of them have the structure surrounding the light bulb and that I have
I looked in the manual I've looked online I've looked through multiple YouTube videos and I simply can't find a single one with that structure as shown in my pictures
Can't work out where the clips are they look like they're on the sides and recessed at the very bizarre assembly not intuitive at all

I've done ours a couple of times, but can't remember the detail! Usually have to get a mirror... I have a feeling you have to squeeze the ends together, and there's not masses of room.

It looks like these are sort of spring clips that hold the lamp in (same on other side). Can they be prized out ?

Studying your picture I would say you need to hold the terminals with one hand, push in the clip as arrowed and ease that side of the bulb out. Then maybe swap hands and push the same clip on the other side to fully release the bulb. The new bulb will push in and the clips lock it in place I THINK

Re: Please can you help change my light bulb I'm having a hell of the time
Hi members
Thank you for the advice
However, after removing the bulbs and checking them, they appeared undamaged
Replacing with Osram Night breakers and turning the engine on and switching on the main beams - the LIGHTS DO NOT TURN ON
The green light for dipped beams comes on the display, but there is no light
The blue light for the main beams comes on the display, and those lights do work
Therefore it can't be a battery issue
I did manage to remove the bulbs and replace them
By wiggling up and down very firmly and also pulling the whole structure, including the electrical attachment.
If you jump to 1 min and 20 seconds on this video
For a post 2016 Citroen C4 Picasso this is the only video out of many that show the correct bulb holder and procedure
Any ideas?

Just out of interest, why does the bulb need changing? It's unusual for both fronts to go at the same time.

Re: Please can you help change my light bulb I'm having a hell of the time
Hi, the left light went out, and shortly after, the right light went Several days later
Due to the long summer days, this was not a problem as I don't night drive
However, on changing the bulbs, the old bulbs look just fine - they both look brand new
So I am thinking could the fuse have gone to both lights, i/e, two fuses blown?
I have not put it to charge using a battery charger for over a year?

Well I would instantly think fuse but if your rear lights are working then it makes sense you change the bulbs.

Test the bulbs and see if they work.

Re: Please can you help change my light bulb I'm having a hell of the time
Hi
Rear lights are working, and the filaments on both the old and new bulbs are undamaged
I thought it was the bulb as the right-hand side bulb went dim and then stopped working
I noticed that when gonig to the car at night, there was an issue with the headlights as they automatically come on when you unlock it
So it was obvious one beam was working and then that too failed
I was thinking they were old and needed replacing
Might need to check with a multimeter

Sounds like a battery issue if you do short journeys.

Hi, thanks I think that maybe an issue I had not considered, as my journeys are short; however, how come the main beams come on no problem?
