Might be of help to someone at some point..
RCZ 1.6 THP... Generally been running great, no issues up until 2 weeks ago when the 'EFRN' warning suddenly popped up and that stupendously annoying bleep, stopped the car and checked the engine bay, nothing
obvious, otherwise running fine, drove it home. I have a Foxwell Pro code reader but it wont look at the Pug, no local access to Diagbox / Lexia, so I started looking online at the most common issues, a few saying
auxilliary water pump so I started there, took it off the car and opened it up and found the impeller wheel was a bit gunged up but not overly so, no access to the chip board as it's a sealed unit but overall the
component looked a bit iffy, I decided to swap it for a new one as they are something that wears out eventually so even if it didn't cure the problem at least that item is new.
Fitted the new one and took the car a decent run, no warnings!, been running it every day since and nothing showing, all good.

I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!
