Everyone knows that bacon and pork pies are vegetarian!
My late vegy wife adamantly maintained this fact.

Isn't eating beef allowed as it's second level vegetarianism ? - it's OK because cows only eat the green stuff :rofl2:

Are you heading to this place in person to buy on the day or just looking before and putting an online bid?

I am going just to view. It is an online only auction, their first one as a new business so I've arranged to go and test the kit I'm interested in and they are happy for me to do that. Passenger seat is empty if you want to come along? :-D

Yep, basically I'll allow a round 50% on my bids to reach my max, so if I'm happy to pay £60 I'll only bid to £40 etc. All dependant on what I find when I get there, decent enough in our email exchanges but I like to meet the people and test the goods before I do any deals!! :-D

I have just spent 30 minutes browsing through this auction catalogue, 31 pages x 60 items per page and I can honestly say that I doubt any DIY member person could go through it without finding something of interest. I have compiled a shortlist of 23 items that I would bid on if I still had my workshop and 13 that I will anyway!! :-D https://www.i-bidder.com/en-gb/auction- ... amco-11433

Sometimes I really wonder who thinks up these sales promotions!!!:

So if you fork out an extra fiver you can save yourself having to carry the battery and charger (currently advertised on TV for £99.99 with a free tool of your choice) home!!

I despair of this society some times!! :-D
