Trafic II help to find where broken hose goes

Unread post by Orchid70 »

Hi

New car for me. Trafic 2010, 2.0 dCi - engine code M9R-786
VIN: VF1**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]

Check engine light lit and these are the fault codes:
DF569
DF645

Van needs lot of work. When i went under, I saw the engine tray broke and this hose hanging out. And cannot find for the world of me - where its supposed to be attached to. And French manufacturers arnt very helpfull with their drawings.

Pictures of the hose.
The engine is soooo oily and everything is so black that I cannot see anything. Its also possible that the hose or pipe, its supposed to be attached to, is missing. It looks like he has driven or more likely reversed into something, the engine undercover was hanging down in the rear as well.

I THINK the hose in question is the one with number 9 - perhaps could be number 6.
Where do the attach to, on the rear???
Any kind of help would be appreciated =)

Here is where the other end goes. Not easy to get on camera, but you get an idea. First pic, where its located, just under the gearbox breathing tube. Second pic pointing on which hose is the one in question:
