Forum not secure?
When firing up the forum on my laptop this morning I keep getting messages about it not being secure and an expired security certificate. Sometimes I even get a page advising me not to continue but I click my way through.
Something going on here or is it my system being hyper cautious.

Brave
Various other security and anti cookie programs
EDIT
Whoof. I had to click my way through three pages of warnings just to post this.

Re: Forum not secure?
I have the same issue on my phone and laptop, both using brave browser. It says the server's security certificate expired yesterday?
I'm also getting an HTTP error when trying to attach the screenshot of my phone's error screen which I have saved as a jpeg so weird as well?

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

Just checked on my Android phone (Chrome browser) and it's the same.

Tech issue in the background - Mike is aware and working on it, temporary fix to remove the Cloudflare, full fix not till later in the day.

Re: Forum not secure?
Sorry for the outrage this morning. It should be ok now, but I need to do some more work to prevent further issues.
I will provide a fuller update later

No need to apologise for it Mike, certainly wasn't your fault. All working fine now from my devices. Thanks as ever

Re: Forum not secure?
Only just been able to log in. Cloudflare said the server was down, then the SSL certificate was expired

Re: Forum not secure?
There were a couple of issues that have been hiding in the system for a few months, which conspired to catch me out while I was on holiday.
The first was an error in the SSL certificate renewal configuration which had gained an outdated account ID when I updated the configuration 3 months ago (the certificates need to be updated every 3 months).
The second was that I enabled a Cloudflare proxy 2 months ago, not realising that Cloudflare can interfere with SS certificate renewal and requires a different plugin to the one that we have been running for years.
So I have now disabled Cloudflare, fixed the renewal configurations and renewed all of the certificates. I a day or two I will redo the configuration for certificate renewal with Cloudflare and then re-enable Cloudflare.

Re: Forum not secure?
Hmm, very strange. I'm still getting the Not secure message in the address bar but the https is no longer struck out. Presumably it's an artefact of the temporary repair. Also no annoying warning pages any more so I don't really care.

Re: Forum not secure?
If using a PC, try a ctrl -F5 to reload the certificate.
