air con

Unread post by 4008 »

Hi, does anyone know what I have to buy to connect to the low pressure point on my Renault espace mk4 2000 2ltr 16v.
An honist air con company in Kilburn area wouldbe good, I am being robbed by suposedly reputable companies.
Many thanks,

I don't know anything about Renaults specifically, but a car from c2000 is likely to be use R12 refrigerant. They use a different size port to R134a refrigerant cars that came later.
A good air-con place should be able to cope with R12 connectors tbh (frustrating if they can't) but if not, then a connector conversion kit like this should be what you need

(nb that's one picked at random and that listing is delivery from China. If you want sooner look a bit more on ebay and I'm sure you'll find a UK seller).
