Hi everyone,
I’ve run into a strange issue and I’m hoping someone can help.
After using a cheap ELM327 module and a mobile app to clear some fault code, my car’s navigation screen now shows the Peugeot logo on startup instead of the Citroën logo and I have noticed child lock were reset after this. Everything else seems to work fine, but the wrong branding shows up when I start the car.
Has anyone experienced this before?
Is there a way to fix it and restore the correct Citroën logo without Diagbox?
Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated!
Citroen DS5, 2014
Thanks in advance.

As far as I know, this has to do with the vin number,
The Citroën number start with VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff] and peugeot i thought VF3**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff].
But you need the diagbox to correct this!!

Thanks for the tip, I truly appreciate it!
I'm taking the car to the mechanic in a few days, so they'll check it out. I'll be back with the results soon!
