Xsara Picasso replacement radio

Hi all,
I hv purchased a replacement original radio for my Xsara Picasso 2000, and apparently it needs a code.
I have my own car’s vin but not the one of the new radio’s car.
Can anyone advise if and how to activate the new radio please?

You need to program the VIN of your car into the new radio with Lexia. If you install it you will get an annoying beep every few seconds until the VIN stored in the radio matches your car. You dont need the VIN of the other car the radio came from.
