Have you tried eBay?

I'm in Australia - you might have guessed that by my username - and a search of eBay just now pointed me to quite a number of mud flaps for the 407 SW. And almost all of them are in the U.K.; they want to charge me a fortune for shipping to Australia. There are also some in that odd country to the east of France.

Sometimes Chinese manufacturers also do small runs of what everyone else considers oddball items, so have you checked AliExpress?

You will know better than I will what is suitable or not, and what is acceptable to you, but if you're desperate …
Cheers,
Andrew

Sorry for misunderstanding your original post.

There are two 'wreckers' as we call them in Australia that you might want to try. I've done a search of a few wreckers here, but these other two don't have an online presence, as far as I know. They are both in suburban Melbourne.

One is French Connection - David Cavanagh. Waddya know! He has an email address. [email protected]

The other is PugWreck - Hayden. I've found an email address for him, too, but I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for a reply. Then again, he might spring a surprise and answer emails faster than he does get back to people's phone queries! [email protected]

Garry Rubben is a private individual who has too many Peugeots that he doesn't know what to do with, but he won't part with any of them. There are some rare to this country cars sitting on his farm going to rot because he doesn't have enough under cover storage space for them all. But you didn't hear any of this from me. [email protected] is an email address I have for him, but who knows if it is still valid. I haven't seen Garry for a decade.

There was another wrecker who had a heap of cars who had to close his business about 18 months ago due to a family crisis, I believe. I was told, after the event, that most, if not all his stock went to scrap metal. A big shame, especially for me as he owed me a few hundred dollars worth of parts.

I'll keep trying to think of other sources, or is it sauces :P
Cheers,
Andrew

Please let me know if you find anything soon.

I’m going to England towards the end of this month and I might have some spare space in my luggage to carry a mud flap or four. Please read the sentence again emphasising the word might!

If I am able to carry any for you, I would really appreciate it if I didn’t have to spend ages cleaning them before I can put them into my bag. It might sound like I’m being picky, but I’m also aware of quarantine rules both in Australia and in the U.K. and I don’t need any extra problems.

Cheers,
