OK, in that case we could give The Coy Carp in Harefield, (https://www.vintageinn.co.uk/restaurant ... lduxbridge ) a go which is a good 15-20 miles closer to Heathrow than the Sceptre knocking 30-40 miles off the trip, how does that sound?

Thoughts on this venue, and day as mentioned above would be welcomed from Zel, Ryan, Jim and any other interested parties are encouraged?

I have just been looking back over the thread and it now appears we have 4 that can make it at the end of that week so I will book a table for Thursday 26th June at 12.30 for 4-6 people and see how it pans out, so please confirm when you are committed.

That is true it would indeed drop the average age but might it also drop the enthusiasm level? No I won't be rebadging a car, much simpler idea!!
