Hiya!
There is an increasing problem with the vehicle's window control panel. Sometimes the window opening buttons work and sometimes they don't. Sometimes I press down and it goes down, sometimes up. Sometimes I press up and it goes down. Usually the window stays down and open. I have to get out of the car and close the window using the remote key control. BSI Faults journal says “Driver's door module FC00 Control pad buttons stuck. Not characterized. Local” error all the time.
Here's my dilemma. Are the window control buttons broken or does the ecu think the window is stuck?

If the switch is the same as the C5 it's likely to be just the switch, they get dirt inside and it messes up the contacts. If you lift the switch out it's possible to take it apart and clean. If you cant get it to work there are plenty for sale on the internet shops for not much money. (Under £5 here in the UK,)

Thanks.
I think it could be the wiring issue. So a brand new one could do the same. I'll try to clean and see if it works.
