It's been a long time since I've seen any blancmange - strawberry or otherwise. Can you still buy it in the shops ?

I have to go to Morrisons today for Marmite stock for my daughter in Germany so I'll have a look!!

I used to do exactly the same as you for a friend in Germany, Mick. A large pot of Marmite was required once a year. Good job it never goes off

Asda, Sainsburys, Morrisons, Nisa, Amazon, Ocado, Waitrose, Tesco...

My dad used to make blancmange from milk and cornstarch. Just white as the name implies, he used to call it cornflour mould though, or 'blumminge'.
Cures all ills.

Well I can report that Morrisons do have Blancmange on the shelf:

Except mine is made with a bay leaf and lots of grated cheese
