Just following up on a topic brought up in my previous post on another subject.
I have a cheap (£20) OBD-II code reader - Streetwize SWOBD3. There are various free apps that can be used with it -
Car Scanner
Auto Doctor
Four Stroke
InCarDoc
Torque (this one costs money)
Does anyone please have experience and could say which would be best (i.e. most comprehensive) for a Peugeot ?
I'm using Car Scanner right now but in truth it's not been very revealing. But I suppose no bad codes is better than finding lots !
Thank you

Re: OBD-II Code Reader and Software
A little late but general consensus on forum is getting a Lexia 3 interface (from ebay/amazon/aliexpress) which connects your car OBD to your laptop.
On the laptop you want Diagbox/PP2000 software which is what the dealerships use, it's sometimes packaged with purchases of the Lexia 3. Try to get a copy installed in a Virtual Machine as you'll be able to run it on your PC. If your car was made 2014/2015+ then diagbox v9 should work with your vehicle, you may need to pay to connect to PSA servers for more advanced features but general diags should be good
