I have 2.77 as an ISO download to burn a CD or mount.

What do you want it for?

I have this software currently and want to change the SD card but want to keep the software the same to avoid and major issues.

Some firmware versions were only ever fitted at the factory and never released for general distribution.

Do you think 2.77 would be suitable given it isn’t the such an upgrade from 2.75

I would guess so but I have no absolute answer.

This update map would seem to show that 2.75 to 2.77 is OK. Note that there is no 2.75 as a destination firmware version which confirms that it was not a public release.

Hi,

Thank you I have downloaded and extracted to a 4gb usb, formatted to Fat 32.

It loads and I get CRC media Checking, unfortunately after about 4 minutes I get CRC error on media.

I have tried 2 different SD cards. Both 8gb, new and never been used in any device.

any thoughts on what I have done incorrectly?

Update.

I burnt the ISO file to a CD and I didn’t get this error and it seems to have worked right until the end, where I saw a few glitches after it had loaded.

1. A constant beeping until I turned enigine off after a few minutes. Beeping had stopped when restarted.

2. I programmed a couple of radio stations in and after a few minutes the unit rebooted and the stations were lost.

I will leave it now for today and see if these issues appear tomorrow and might ask for guidance.

If they don’t all I need to do is work out how to get my maps back installed. (Any advice gratefully received)

It's possible that my copy is corrupted as I haven't used it myself or shared it with anyone before now but, hoping that it's not, I would suggest you download it again first of all.

I started writing this reply earlier today and then got overtaken by events! I'll send you a PM tomorrow regarding the maps.

Hi Paul.

So following on from yesterday. The constant beeping isn’t an issue anymore.

However on starting the infotainment system allows the buttons to work for around 1 minute 20 seconds. Theses are the radio buttons on the central unit, the controls on the steering wheel and the controls on the center console.

After this time the system appears to work but freezes where it was, no changing channels etc and all buttons not working, No reversing sensors either or buttons function but radio still plays.

Then on 5 minutes after starting the system reboots to the Peugeot symbol and the above process is continually repeated.

Not sure if worth noting but on the instrument display when toggled to show the radio station the it says “Radio Off”

Would it be worth reinstalling the 2.77 software or have you got any further advice.

Hmm, it could be that the memory chips on the motherboard are starting to fail. You've changed your SD card so there's not much left. Reinstalling probably won't do anything but you could try.

I am going to try to reload version 2.77 as the first port of call.

On the original SD card I didn’t get the unit resting so I think it is down to version 2.77 either not working as expected or an incorrect install, as you mentioned no one used it so maybe it has issues in it.

If all else fails I may move to 2.80 to see it can be resolved. I really don’t want 2.86 with the issues I have read about but if that’s the way to go if 2.80 doesn’t work then so be it.

I will update when I have reinstalled 2.77.

Unfortunately as expected the reinstall of 2.77 didn’t correct the issue.

If you can point me to 2.80 that would be much appreciated
