ZX Key fob

Having replaced the batteries in the ZX fob it now does not work at all?,it was intermittent before, the batteries are the right way round, what am I doing wrong[?]

Hi Stuart, I have same problem with my ZX. I've found if I close the door hard and at the same time aim the key fob I usually ge a result, points to something dodgy in the door locking system and NOT your key fob!!

Sounds Like a dry joint on the circuit board or battery terminals.
Left undisturbed for so long all was fine now the battery change ?
Strip it down and look very closely at the board track and battery terminals.
These things crack with age,also check for dirt around the contacts.
