Disco lights on rear driving lights++ Berlingo

Unread post by Plumbo »

Hello .
I got a issue with disco lights on my rear driving lights ( yes it look like a rave party in back ther 😵‍💫). Also when the interior light is on the right rear lamp and license plate lights are slightly turns on.
It started on one side ( right side) 2 weeks ago , and now i got the same problem on both sides.

Some times also the brake light lives it own life and gos on and off when I don't push the brakes. ( Wet and cold weather is worse then normal dry days) .

The car had led lights in the interior lamps , license plate lamps , reverse lights ( one is broken left side) rear brake and running lights .

The car got a brand new agm Battery 70amp so that is not a problem.

Any one got a idea on what this issue is ?
Or amaby a working diagram that includes interior lights and rear lights ( it is a link somewhere ther i think that is the problem) bit this is my opinion. Open for ather problems .😊

Thanx 😎

If it did not originally have LED lights then that might be the problem. If so fit the bulbs as listed in the handbook. Otherwise it might be a wiring fault such as a bad earth point.

Make sure all the bulbs are working, everywhere, and replace those that aren't. While doing this, check all the bulb holders are clean and dry. You said when it is wet and cold it is worse, so check water isn't getting in to any of the light fittings.
