Could've been a lot, lot worse. The following week was the England World Cup Squad with Back Home!

Always liked that but wasn't aware of it's religious nature until fairly recently.
Which just shows how much notice I take of most lyrics.
Sounded dreadful when I ran it just now until I realised it was on the laptop crap speakers, had unplugged the stereo. Silly me.

Very happy to know what really was No. 1 on that auspicious day... I do know I was definitely feeling a lot of love around then :-D

It's a still a great track... Brings back huge great memories... Radio 4 did a whole documentary about it the other day - worth a listen ;)
