Matt, while researching for my garage floor I came across this listing. Its a bit too far for me to go just to get free tiles but I wondered if it might be any use to you?

Another trailer tip today to pick up 10x 150 millimeter high base rails and three 300 millimeter high units. About 400 kilos and me and my wife are feeling the effects of having wrestled these into place.
Probably a trip back to the same suppliers next weekend if an order for several new panels is ready by then. Phew!

That lot surely stopped the trailer bouncing around Matt
I used to find mine bounced around a good bit when empty but when well loaded was very stable...

Yes certainly took the bounce and a lot of the noise out of it! Tends to drum a little since it's "new bottom". I'll look at adding another few stiffeners to the underside at some point.CitroJim wrote: 15 Mar 2025, 17:05 That lot surely stopped the trailer bouncing around MattI used to find mine bounced around a good bit when empty but when well loaded was very stable...

Having installed some of those 300m concrete gravel boards, make sure you have a hefty mate on hand! Time you have had them in and of the hole a couple of times you will be feeling it!

Yes definitely they are awkward things! We only had 3 of the 1 foot / 300mm to put in (and actually still have one of those three to do - need to clear space around the panto where that one is to go) - deliberately only using these on shorter posts where we don't have to raise them so high. At the back of the garden we needed to raise up that much but went for 2x 150 mm to get there on the basis of two smaller lighter ones less challenging to get 6 foot up in the air that one big one.RichardW wrote: 15 Mar 2025, 18:55 Having installed some of those 300m concrete gravel boards, make sure you have a hefty mate on hand! Was just my wife (5' 4" and slim) and me doing the task today, but she's obviously stronger than you'd guess (she sheared the end off the SDS chisel whilst I was finishing off my lunch!

Aah!! We have the same pressure washer, mine is currently stuck at the back of the shed behind the tent which demonstrates a complete lack of forethought when I emptied the garage!! I have to dig it out for the final washing off of the drive but not plucked up the courage yet!!

Yes, it's a decent unit, my Aunty gave if to me when she downsized and didn't need one any more.
It's needed open heart surgery once so far - a plastic outlet "elbow" piece sprang a leak. Obviously a common fault given the million aftermarket pieces of the same item!
Previous I had another "given to me" unit, that was an old Aldi one (Parkside - actually is that Lidl?)

I had to replace the inlet socket on mine, not due to a failure but a clumsy member of the household 'tidying up' my sledgehammer!!

I'd say the Aldi/Lidl one was at least on a par with the Karcher, but the easy availability of accessories for the Yellow thing is definitely handy. Currently expanded it to:
- whirling floor cleaning thing
- very necessary "extension rod" so as not to give yourself back ache when using the above!
- snow foam squirty gizmo
I'm not sure if there's anything else I might to seek out, but the above does what I need most often.
I did look into "sand blasting" attachments for it, need to research a bit more to see if these are worth having

Yep, I have the patio cleaner and the snow foam dispenser. I use the snow foam often but I didn't think much of the whirlybird so it has been up in the garage rafters for at least 5 years!
The extension rod is up there with it and I also have 4 different lances gathered from my previous Karcher which is now doing stirling work for my neighbour!!

Think the whirly is good for a quick clean, makes less mess than left to my own devices with the standard nozzle! Works best held about 10-15 mm off the floor otherwise the ejected water seems to get in the way of the whirly action and it's much less effective.
Oh, just remembered: I've also a powered wash brush my dad gave me that he'd hardly ever used on his own Karcher. Not tried that yet.
