Pins found in cylinder head

Unread post by Phil the Fluter »

Hi guys,

I've been asked by a friend - could I identify these pins, he's found them in the cylinder head when putting the car back together (the timing belt had snapped) luckily he thinks not too much damage, a couple of rockers had snapped, he can't figure out where they came from, 5 in total 2mm x 25mm I think he said any idea guys, I've not had one if these apart so can't really advise, I've not physically seen the engine myself just this photo, any idea guys?

They are the needle roller bearings from the rockers, ideally you want to go fishing with a magnet to try find them all. How many rockers broke?
Times that by how many needle rollers are in each bearing to give you an idea of how many you should find
