Having watched that video, just tolerated the narration, I think I'll stick with my electric jack and axle stands. I have a pair of traditional steel ramps with feeders but it is so much faffing compared to powered jacking onto stands I'll only use them when I need all four wheels up to get under the whole car, exhaust work for instance, when I'll jack the front onto the ramps and the rear onto the stands. Driving on or off with my low bumpers is just too iffy!! :-D

Yes I know exactly what you mean! A bit motor mouth for my liking too, but undeniably comprehensive in his approach.

As a broad test the hydraulic ramps did not get much focus. Wobbling them whilst the vehicle was at full lift was enlightening however in the comments the people have spotted that he appears not to have put the two locking pins either side of the jack into place. Given this would mean all the load is taken by the bottle jack, it does somewhat undermine the conclusion of them being crap! / "Sketchy"

Same as you I have a pair of standard metal ramps which are too steep to use without adding a wooden block to prevent scraping and a multitude of axle stands. Ramps at one end and axle stands for the other works well. I wondered about these hydraulic ramps to do the same thing but with a bit more height as my big axle stands and high lift jack could get the other end a touch higher.

Think they'll stay in my watch items for a good while longer, unless they have a super fantastic half price sale, my money will likely stay in my pocket (on that front anyway!) :-D

More detailed descriptions to follow but quick dumper the pictures and then I'm cracking on with progressing it:

Grey 308 had MOT advisory for slightly twisted brake hose front left

Untwisted
Hose connection loosened at the bodywork end. Twist removed. Retightened.

Decided to push a good squirt of new brake fluid through and I'm glad I did that's what came out was filthy black!

Countrary to the labeling this is not Vimto!

Brake caliper bolts: top one is 13 mm, bottom one is 12 mm head. Supposed to have loctite but nope it's copper grease instead.
Why does finding out how the car has been worked on in the past generally not fill me with confidence!?

Is that a shim plate that should be between the pad and the caliper? :)

That brake fluid was definitely better out than in Matt!
