Help Needed!
Thanks for taking the time to read this. Picked up a 308 on Saturday, and the radio wasn't working. After a bit of investigation I have found out that the head unit is not the original for the car and it was disconnected behind. When it is connected it beeps continuously. There is also a spare 4 pin cable that has nowhere to go in the current head unit. I'm open to any and all advice or suggestions

Re: Help Needed!
Hi
From the pictures you have, this isn't an RT6 Head Unit. It's a MyWay or RNEG, as it has an SD card slot in the front, which RT6 units do not have, so I've moved this to the MyWay forum.
A beeping noise means the unit is likely not VIN coded to the vehicle, but beyond that I can't advise as to any issues without any symptoms.

Please note, I'm no longer active on the Forum, so won't respond to messages.

Re: Help Needed!
Hi Marc
Thanks for your reply. Yes this unit isn't an RT6 but it's not the correct head unit for my car. From what I can work out I need the Magneti Marelli RT6 RNEG2 head unit. This seems to have been a previous owners attempt to fix it but they got the wrong head unit....... I've attached what I believe I need

Re: Help Needed!
It is probably best to post your VIN so we can check what your car originally had. It may also be useful to know what model of display screen you have, in case that has also been changed.

Thanks for the reply
VIN is VF3**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]
I'll check the screen model later when I get a chance

Re: Help Needed!
According to the year of manufacture of the car, the main unit RNEG (CAN2004) and the screen are the correct ones.
