Sphere tables!

Unread post by handyman »

I see the GSF sphere table has gone walkabout into the ether. I should have copied it as a file.

I have a sphere I need to identify. Part No: N45372 or SP672. Sold to me sometime ago as a rear anti-sink for an Activa, but I have a feeling it is for a Hydractive hatchback.

Please confirm.

N45672 perchance?

By Xantia World's tables, that ought to be a rear antisink 50 bar, 400cc, unvalved sphere. Seems to fit all models except Series I Activas.

Thanks Alasdair, really useful pressure infos but i'm looking for a list of Citroen sphere part numbers ( the 98xxxx, 5272.xx numbers) and where they would be fitted to which car? Reason is, i have a box of around thirty spheres, a mix of old and new butonly the new ones are actually numbered so i need to know which sphere goes where cos my cars are a mix of mark1, mark2, hydractive, non-hydractive. Get my drift? I'm sure ive seen one sorted by numbers .....

Yay ... that exactly but for Xantias. That's a lot of info youve still got hands on Alasdair.

I've only ever had one BX, a TZD Turbo Estate, G-reg in red which i had to get rid of by SWMBO due to its 'plastic body' when kids came along. Shame. The car not the kids that is :rofl2:

I found this data in my archive, apparently from GSF (Amtex spheres).
