Just make sure the battery is disconnected first and wait 5 minutes or so Colin before unclipping connectors to be on the safe side for lots of reasons.

Did you get the heated seat working again? I have the exact problem, switch lights up but when turning it to 1-3 it fades out after a few seconds.

have not done anything yet, trying to find a slot for my auto sparky which works for the both of us but i will update as and when

Hi Chico.
I have learnt to live with it.
It's only in the winter I noticed it, in the summer after it has been parked in the sun for 8 hours when I wish I had a cooling function on it as the seat is a little bit on the toasty scale of warm.
