Ds5 Rneg2 to NAC upgrade(yes I know this may be the 100th time this has been asked)

I am hoping to upgrade the Rneg2 system in the 2015 Citroen Ds5 to a Nac system which was fitted to Ds badged Ds5's. I think this question has been asked multiple times before however I would appreciate it if a knowledgeable person went over it with me again and gave me their advice directly.

I have already obtained a Nac wav2 Dab version unit from a 2017 car via a scrapper on eBay. Is this a problem right out of the gate because from what I am already reading on this forum is that to have it be able to work in my car with my cars Bsi it needed to be re coded (telecoded) before I received it?

I have also been able to obtain through eBay what I think is the correct touchscreen from the later ds5 cars however at time of writing this it has not arrived yet.

Essentially my question is have I already wasted money or can I still achieve success to upgrade my car Rneg2 to NAC and also step by step of what I would need to do...
