On my Citroen c4 x max how do I turn off lane assist please

It depends exactly on which exact system you have or are referring to. There's lane keeping assist and then there's lane departure warning - both are controlled differently depending on the other equipment you have. You need to consult your owner's manual to determine which function you want to deactivate. If it's only Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS) then there is usually a button on the dash that shows a vehicle silhouette in between 2 angled dotted lines on the dash to the right side of the steering wheel. Otherwise for Lane Keeping Assistance, it will be via one of the the Touchscreen menus that deals with vehicle functions.
