C5X Rear Camera Issue

Hi there, new to this forum but thankful for it. I have a 2022 C5X and the rear camera appears to be blown according to an auto electrician. I rang Citroen here in Tasmania Australia and its 3 months before I can get this new part. Im wondering if anyone knows if the rear camera on the C5X shares its part with any other vehicles? The front and side views are working fine as are the rear sensors just black on the back camera. Also has anyone has issues with the rear hatch not auto closing at all? cheers and thanks for taking the time to read this or help in any way.

It depends are there are different Panoramic Vision Cameras for the C5 X, depending on equipment and depending on whether Video Park 1 is provided and the build dates for example, so although one or more of these cameras may be fitted to other later models of Berlingo K9s, C4 (C41), C4 X (C43), Dispatch IV (K0) and Spacetourer vehicles, you will have the same supply issue from the dealer - you'll just have to wait until they come back into stock.

Just be very careful not to knock the front and rear bumpers as you may also have the angular radar units fitted for autonomous driving features and these are highly sensitive to knocks that may require recalibration.

Can't help with the rear tailgate, but make sure you get anything wrong logged with your dealership whilst you have warranty.

Do you mean by the button on the Dash, key fob, tail gate buttons or waving you foot?

Thanks Sloppysod, Just referring to an intermittent refusal to close via back button, or key fob. just every now and then.

I don't seem to remember any problems, but once, when I'd left it open too long and the car had shut down, so had to close boot manually.

I have used eBay for similar items. If I can get parts out of Europe in 11 days you should be able to get replacements out of China for a Chinese made car in less than 3 months. I reckon one could get married and divorced in less time.
