Yep, I should be able to make this barring any utter disasters befalling me between now and then.

Prawn cocktail, roast beef and fudge cake for me please. Preferably not all at once as that would be a bit strange...

I love the 'anyone who can make it' comment. You've given no address so no new friendly people can join which is a massive shame as I'm the youngest at 40 years old!! Pls peeps, I need help with these old foggys!!!

The address is further up the thread when the meet was first proposed and should anyone new want to get involved I'm pretty sure they'd ask for more details Ryan!! That's the way foggys work!! :-D

In no way am I an 'old fogey' Ryan!!! I have the mental age of a teenager and most of the time, behave like one ;)

I'm well into my second childhood...

I despair of growing old and I'm doing all I can to avoid it :)

Spending lots of time with children and young people is the perfect antidote...

It hurt like hell, my hand turned 90° but my arm didn't. My tendons/ligaments are screaming in pain even trying to crush an empty can.

Don't crush empty cans then!
Just tread on them.

[-o< crushing is fun! Makes me feel manly. If I brought my son would the normal menu apply?
