C3 Pluriel - Rear Lights

Unread post by RPluriel »

Bonjour!
I have a C3 Pluriel 2008 RHD/UK. Just joined Forum/Club.
My rear lens covers have been damaged. Specifically, the protective plastic lens covers have fallen off! The lamp clusters still operate but are now open to the elements. Having trouble sourcing replacements - I am prepared to purchase complete assembly if necessary but can not identify a set for UK/RHD vehicle.
Any pointers very much appreciated.
Regards.

Roderick.

This is an example where you can find the right part. You have to choose the first car with the right engine.

I had one of those....there are two things that you cannot get....roof cables (tbh most roof parts) and RHD rear lights......your only chance will be a breakers yard.

Note...RHD rear lights are not the same as LHD rear lights as the fog lamp is on the other side

Many thanks Mihael.
Scoured the internet last week and unfortunately Autodoc and other similar sites could not assist.
Cheers.

Thank you Stickyfinger.

Yep - trying breakers yards etc. for used ones; a daily chore but, as you say, 'hen's teeth' ! Also, appreciate your reminder about LHD/RHD incompatibility - actually, annoyingly, new LHD light sets available.

Cheers

Does it really (legally) matter in the UK on which side the fog light is situated? If not you could replace both left and right rear lights with European ones although you would need to make some modifications to the wiring of course.

Alternatively maybe this Dutch breakers have what you are looking for as they seem to be breaking various UK Pluriels for some reason:

3 out of 5 seem to have a UK license plate and/or the steering wheel on the right side of the car....

Many thanks Furriegurie,

I am exploring the options for changing lenses and/or rewiring etc. with professional auto-electricians who are UK MOT savvy.

And thanks for the Dutch breakers link.

Hunt continues!!
