I believe the first code is causing the ESP/ASR to throw the second code. I have just had the tracking done, coincidence?
P11AA is triggered at 3100 rpm with engine warning that disappeared and then the ESP warning came up and stayed until I cycled the ignition. Both codes shows as intermittent in the diagnostic and can be cleared.
I have read that after having work done on the steering, it needs calibration. No calibration fault is showing, so I don't believe it is this.
Any ideas welcome.
Regards
Dusty.

Most likely the engine ECU setting the code is causing the ESP code. What freeze frame data is recorded when the code sets?

I've since been out and can't replicate the fault accelerating it up the same slip road. I'm wondering if it was just upset the steering components were touched. But here's the recorded variables when the engine management came up first Time around.RichardW wrote: 06 Dec 2024, 20:31 Most likely the engine ECU setting the code is causing the ESP code. Could be a fault with the turbo, the boost control solenoid, or the vent filter blocked. This still appears to have the solenoid vented to atmosphere:
I would check that the filter is not obviously obstructed. You can also check that the vanes in the turbo are working OK - with the engine off push down on the actuator and then let go it - it should move easily and quickly spring back to the original position. Other than that you will have to wait till it gets worse so that you can figure out which bit is broken!

So. It happened again yesterday. Same codes, same conditions, battering up a hill. All gone once the ignition was cycled. She's been running great all this time too.
