Timing Belt Partner 2.0 HDI

Hi there,
help/advice needed please
My 19yr old Partner Escapade just had a new timing belt fitted... the second one in 117,000 miles.
It was due a new one anyway but a month before fitting, the engine started chugging even once it was warmed up and about week before it went into the garage it had lost a lot of power.
We queried poss injector issues but when I collected the car from the garage they said it was running really well just from changing the cam belt. The injectors were all good.
That was 4 days ago (maybe 50 miles ago) and now the chugging is starting up again and the beginnings of loss of power too.
Does this sound like the timing has slipped and it could new a new tensioner as well?
I'll be talking to the garage tomorrow but any thoughts in the meantime would be much appreciated

Was this sorted. ? Cam senors can cause this .

Timing does not “slip” ? Either the toothed belt was fitted correctly or it wasn’t. If it was fitted a tooth out you would have noticed it immediately. Best go with Husky’s advice, you will need the fault codes read.
