Re: A Bridge Too Far...
Not sure which bridge todays "RAC Rally of the tests" will be crossing the Border on, my choice would be the iconic Union Chain Bridge over the Tweed. The "flying Scotsman" rally organised by the same group has done it before
Time lapse does have the flashing images, but the little video covers a lot of work to completion in a short amount of time.
Real time would definitely be a TLD watch!

I follow a Facebook Group called 'Bridge of the Day'..
One bride featured recently was a small bridge in Mid-Wales; a disused suspension bridge, presumably beyond repair, with a newer bridge to the side of it as a replacement.
Amazingly, and totally unexpectedly, we saw it on our way to the Elan Valley!
A true treat

Anti-vandal measures proposed for listed viaduct.
This is not far from where I live but we lived much closer until 1987.
My next door neighbour went shopping, dropped the bags in the kitchen then went and jumped off the viaduct.
Network Rail is seeking permission to install new bollards and fencing at Sunderland's Grade II* listed Victoria Viaduct, which crosses the River Wear between Fatfield and Penshaw.
The proposals will be considered by Sunderland City Council's planning department, as listed building consent is required for the works.
A decision will be made by April 14, according to the Local Democracy Reporting Service.
The structure, originally known as the Victoria Bridge, was completed in 1838 as part of the Durham Junction Railway and has a 120ft (36.5m) drop at its highest point to the river below.

Re: A Bridge Too Far...
Swiped from ARRSE:-
Trinity Bridge in Crowland, Lincolnshire, is a rare three-way stone bridge dating back to the 14th century. This illustration from the 1800s shows the river under the bridge in the 1600s.
It was originally built between 1360 and 1390 to replace earlier wooden bridges spanning the junction of the River Welland and a distributary.
Constructed from Barnack stone, the bridge provided an innovative solution to crossing two waterways at their divergence.
The rivers were rerouted in the 17th century, leaving the bridge standing over dry ground.
Now a scheduled monument and Grade I listed, it remains a striking historical landmark in the town.

Baiting Bridge in Yorkshire. The water level is so low now that the old bridge has been revealed.

Gosh Steve! I've now seen that picture for the umpteenth +1 time
It been all over Facebook like a rash for weeks now...
For a long while I was convinced it was AI generated and I still retain some suspicion... 'AI Slop' is everywhere these days and my trust that any image I see on any form of social media is these days is genuine is very low indeed unless absolutely proved to be so.

If referring to the bridge in the reservoir I watched a BBC news broadcast where they were on location. Certainly no AI involved.

It's a bit Madison County to my eye. Very cute, if you can apply that to a bridge.
