Elec mirror Xantia

Unread post by wrinklet1 »

Hi, can anyone give me an idea how to check that the heated mirrors work on my Xantia? I have a test meter but not sure how to check if the element is working or not.

Poor cold water on the mirror so it steams up then switch on the HRW to see if it clears it? My VSX only works on the driver's side (or maybe it was designed that way?).

Or maybe move to a warmer country where heated mirrors aren't needed. [:D]
Ok ok, I promise to behave now... [:D]

Both the mirrors on my car are heated.
You can feel the heat in them if you put the back of your hand on the mirror.

Both of mine used to be heated, but only one works right now.
The heated feature is good when its raining because it dries the mirrors so you can see properly.
