RD45 - default audio source

This unit is the RD4 or RD45 system, made by Continental.
Usually standard equipment unless another system is specified as an option. There are Single & Dual Tuner versions. RD45 features over the RD4: The RD45 has USB connectivity & integrated Bluetooth module supporting Phone & Audio Streaming.

Hi Gents,

I have RD45 in my C5, working fine with BT, but the one thing that driving me crazy is that every single time I need to change the source to Bluetooth, because it starts with FM radio.

I'm aware that this might be awful design (I had 2x Renaults before C5 and headunit always stayed on the last used). Is there any way to change this?

I think that it is what it is.

It appears that it does remember, e.g aux and CD, but due to the time required to reconnect to a Bluetooth source it fails and drops back to radio.

That is also my understanding on these older units. Later systems do tend to remember and automatically connect in my experience.
