There are 2 different frequency types ASK & FSK.
Do you know what type you used?
I would think this vehicle is FSK type.
If you use the wrong type the engine will start but you wont get remote operation.

Where did you get the key, does it not tell you in the listing?

Memine says it's a solid key so it won't be ASK or FSK!

You need to find out what those three remote type keys you bought are. It's possible that all three are the wrong type (all ASK or all FSK) but we just don't know at the moment. Can you not contact the respective vendors?

Correct, it is possible you have ordered 3 of the wrong type remotes.
Also does the central locking button inside the car lock & unlock the car as expected?

A decent locksmith should have a machine which reads a remote to see whether it's transmitting. Some of these machines will also show whether the transmission is ASK or FSK. It's worth a few phone calls to try to find such a person.

yes the car locks and unlocks from inside the car and with the drivers door lock ,3 remotes i bought 2 was ASK the other was FSK these are off eBay so it is possible they was faulty but a good idea by Paul-r to find someone with software to see if any are transmitting (used to able do that with a car radio) and is my car ASK or FSK ,does the receiver not tell me anything were ever the location in the car ?.......Cheers

I have a funny feeling Citroen will say we need to try a genuine key on it first for £££.
Can you go in with Lexia & see live data of the HF receiver? Note you may see a separate menu in Lexia for the HF receiver that has no communication but only vehicles outside Europe have this. You will find this live data either in the BSI menus or the switch module at the steering wheel (this is where the HF reciever is located).
Generally the chinese remotes for full CAN vehicles like yours are fine, id be surprised if you have had so many faulty ones in a row (unless you have been getting them from Euro car parts :-D )
