Yes from the recent Renault Moustache rear lights whatsthisthen :?: I can confirm with my own eyes that the Renault Arkana does indeed sport the distinctive handlebar moustache rear lights. In the murk of the early afternoon today one passed us on the A1 with the rear lights on full display.

Be sure to note your first noticing of the Renault Moustache on this thread FCF faithful :-D

Here is entry No 2 on the FCF rear lighting at night spotters guide inspired by the recent whatsthisthen?
Rears only for this, as that is the view you get most commonly, and the front lighting can only be deciphered as distinctive when the car is stationery or moving slowly, and any spotters guide is completely redundant with oncoming traffic at any sort of speed through the brightness and the glare.

Front lights of a car before the aggressive-look light design properly manifested itself, and round or oblong were the main shapes of choice.

Sorry no picture but a Hyundai Kona? In the way home tonight. A lovely thin red strip of red tail light, full width...

... And then a sort of "oh sorry forgot all the other light functions, I'll just shove them here" far below!

Will try and find a picture

Not actually about style but an interesting thing cropped up that I have not come across before!! My neighbour got up early this morning and did a school run, when he got back I was out the front and he came and asked me if I'd have a quick look at his headlights as they seemed very dim to him when he went out this morning. I strolled over to his car and observed the problem from about 20 yds away. I advised him to de-ice them before using the car in the mornings, the LED lights just don't provide the heat that the halogens used to!!! :-D

That's something I'd have never appreciated Mick, being so used to Q-H lights defrosting themselves...

I guess the next generation of cars will have heated headlamp lenses to cope with this...

Like Teslas and those other cars that have fully retractable door handles could do with heated handles...

Just stick to good old Q-H bulbs I say ;)
