Yes agreed, but it might have been a business meeting or a meet with a professional of some sort. Not ideal in my view! :)

So loved/hated ones would suit better, especially if it's a business meeting

I think this would be acceptable to most customers:

Agreed Mick... All joking aside, I too was really quite taken aback to see that paragraph. As you say, it could indeed be very awkward.

Ryan, great to see you :D How are you keeping? Very well I trust...

I'm good thank you Jim, just taken my usual leave from Social Media. I find social media can absorb your life at times so I take regular breaks. I don't think I can make the meet as work/home life balance has been tipped, in my favour :-D

That's great to hear Ryan :-D And very wise on the social media front. I take care to limit mine so that it doesn't get in the way of enjoying real life.

Would love to see you at one of our meets in the future; maybe we can arrange nearer your region...

Following messages from Mike and Robin there is no real point in Jim and I going to The Shire Horse for lunch when we can move it back to Hemel. So what we need is proposals for availability dates from Mike, James and Robin bearing in mind that Tuesdays or Thursdays are the preferable options to pick. So post up your available days and we'll rearrange The Shire Horse. :-D

Tuesdays or Wednesdays are the only available options for me (due to my work rota).

OK then James, Jim can't make Wednesdays and Robin prefers Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday so the logic is go for a Tuesday, how does that suit you Mike? :-D

Mick, if there's an argument on which day to go I'll threaten to turn up, just tell me which day you prefer, I'll threaten the other day.....
