hi to all the buttons on my 2005 xpic fob remote have fell off so i ordered a china key but the the new key has transponder on pcb where original has in key case
so i cant sync this new key for remote locking even when new board in old key case
i am guessing new transponder needs diagboxing in ?
would removing new transponder make any difference

Yes it needs coding to the Engine ECU / BSI and no, if you remove the transponder you won't get very far...literally.

If the car is from 2003 and the key fob is "round-ish", the Chinese keys wont work. Well, at least the central locking transmitter wont work.
If that is the case, replace the buttons on your old PCB and get a new case from Aliexpress.
