Hi there,
For the start - I don’t want to make unnecessary mess in parts request area so I will just add a note in this post.
I finally got my clone of obd interface and diagbox. I scanned my C4 and started fixing all things.
So far most of small mechanical issues - fixed.
Still some electrical/module failures I have to fix :/
The VIN number VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]
Issues & Parts I need to fix/replace:
Bonnet cable - Lock is replaced with brand new lock but it came without the cable. Is the number 7937L3 correct one for my C4?
Smell of gasoline inside cabin - I have mentioned that issue in my failure post. Well. After performing test with Diagbox I’m quite sure the valve is okay - I can hear it working. There is no leakage visible near injectors. Problem appears only when fuel level is at/or below 50% + cold start of engine. So my guessing is.. carbon filter. Part 1502F9 is not available for purchase but 1502H9 looks .. the same and it is available. My question - can I use part 1502H9 instead? Or there is other one I can use?
Rain sensor - this is tricky and I have no clue how to deal with it. My windscreen was replaced (sensor as well) aaand now automatic lights work but automatic screen wipe doesn’t. Diagbox told me “Adaptation not possible” ;/
Diagbox 7.57 and 9.68 (I guess thats the newer one number). 7.57 can see all the firmware installed while 9.68 reports no firmware - just question mark instead of version. Is there any way to get it operational? Or there is specified part number I should use?
If there is nothing I can do I’ll just go to local Citroen for programming.
Clutch sensor - I have used cheap Ridex replacement and all the time Diagbox was popping up clutch sensor error. So I took original one apart, cleaned it and reinstalled it. It stopped reporting errors but I damaged the cover during the process (like who designed this thing -.-) I couldn’t find the part number on cover - which one should I use as replacement?
Steering wheel buttons - another tricky thing to fix. I spent hours trying to get Cruise Control operational. Once I managed to reinstall original clutch sensor, diagbox told me there is an issue with switches. So.. I removed airbag, disassembled switches, cleaned them and… voila - CC operational but the issue still exists. It is like the roll switch LIM/O/REG have no contact at all -.- Causing SERVICE light and reducing engine power. I have found only non-oe switch controls but most of them come without Cruise Control. Is there any recommendation to use?
Ignition Coil - this is pain in the ass. After failure some cheap one from ERA branch was installed. Which one is recommended for this engine?
Engine cooling vent - it is working only on 2nd & 3rd gear. It was replaced long time ago and I don’t have original part number. It is appearing in Diagbox all the time.
Headlights regulation - it just doesn’t work. I have checked fuse box, both engines and the switch - everything appears to be okay, there is no failure in Diagbox but it doesn’t work. Any ideas?
I have found some small amount of oil in engine air filter box and on the filter. Any ideas where does it come from?
Thanks in advance :]

There are 2 variations, depending on what you have for this vehicle:Bonnet cable - Lock is replaced with brand new lock but it came without the cable. Is the number 7937L3 correct one for my C4?
Without a bonnet lock, part: 7937L3, £61.52
For vehicles with a bonnet lock, part: 7937L0, £54.91
No, none of those part numbers is correct.carbon filter. Part 1502F9 is not available for purchase but 1502H9 looks .. the same and it is available. My question - can I use part 1502H9 instead? Or there is other one I can use?
(7) OEM Original Passenger Compartment Carbon Filter, part: 647975, £50.96
Cheaper PSA Version of the Carbon Filter, part: E146177, £19.31
Anti Allergenic Premium Carbon Filter, part: 647941, £63.65
You may have the incorrect part fitted, but the correct part number is 6405CP, but this is no longer available. If you have the wrong rain / light sensor it will not work.Rain sensor
(7) Clutch Switch, part: 218920, £34.55Clutch sensor
These are the modules - it may be either,. I can't say:Steering wheel buttons
(1) Multifunction Control Unit, part: 624348, £609.72
(2) VMF Integral Switch Module, part: 98003833ZD, £576.34
(1) Ignition Coil (also includes A,B, C & D from (2), part: 597099, £181.12Ignition Coil
I don't understand what you mean Engine Cooling Vent?Engine cooling vent
I assume you mean Headlamp height Adjustment. The adjustment control is inside the vehicle, and the adjusters are internal to the headlamps.Headlights regulation
Can't advise as this needs investigation to locate the source.I have found some small amount of oil in engine air filter box and on the filter. Any ideas where does it come from?

Thank you GiveMeABreak.
Let me correct my stupidity with part names and descriptions.
1502F9 is Fumes Absorber. This is my guessing where does the gasoline smell comes from to the cabin. But I couldn’t find it available for purchase. Only 1502H9.
Engine cooling - I meant Cooling Fan. Resistor was replaced and now it is constantly discharging battery plus my guessing - this is causing it to operate only on 2nd&3rd gear or only 3rd.
Headlights height adjustment - yes, this is exactly what I was thinking. I checked everything I could with multimeter and there is nothing suspicious. I’m not sure about switch resistance which is 1.4ohm.
Engine oil in filter case - I think it is somehow coming to air filter from crankcase breather hose. I’ve found some oil in that hose and throttle actuator as well. I cleaned both as much as I could.

That diagram is old and out of date.
1502F9 is the Petrol Vapour Absorber and is correct part number for your specific vehicle, but the reason you may be having trouble locating one is that they are no longer available from Citroen, so likely second hand parts are scarce.
Part 1502H9 is not for your engine, this part is specifically for the later build models and with the EW10J4s Engine.
Cooling Fan
(1) Engine Fan, part: 1253A9 (No Longer Available from Citroen).
(6) Cooling Fan Electronic Control Unit, part: 9830143880, £104.87, + 1611739780 (New Harness), £24.36
