Re: Favourite colours for cars
I've found the perfect car to complete the purple set:

Re: Favourite colours for cars
The target is 6 different makes/models in shades of what is most simply called Purple. So much easier with a few joiners-in of course, it isn't that difficult. Purple cars are not the commonest but not exactly rare. Original pictures only make this particular gallery. Your contributions are invited and appreciated
Look what has happened. A Citroen C3 Picasso in what I think is KDR Karma Violet Metallic has just bagged the sixth spot on the six of the best Purple Gallery.

Me and all the FCF Worldwide global audience don't.
Name these three, there is something not quite right here...you may have to view another thread to discover the answer!

Re: Favourite colours for cars
Is that Clio a Megane in pyjamas?
In which case it would be C1, C3 Aircross and Megane RS

That's one of the three Mick. Must have had bright colour=clio primed in the sub conscious when I put the original caption up

Re: Favourite colours for cars
Yes I wouldn't recognise the characteristics of the "Aircross" brand from appearance or function had I not peeked at its rear and seen the badge

Re: Favourite colours for cars
In my book, If I saw this car in the car parks, roads and fields of the United Kingdom, it would certainly catch my asttention and I would take a Photo of it. Part of it is its appearance, undoubtedly odd, but the colour also is striking and odd.
So save the knee jerk comments of ugly and brown, look at it with odd and interesting in mind, and appreciate it for what it is. A refreshing change to the blandness of the general motoring offerings in shape and colour, (although it is improving) of 2024.

I saw that one at Chevrons. In the metal it looks much nicer than it does in the picture. It's in fabulous condition

Re: Favourite colours for cars
I see Jim likes the yellows, I had a mate who would have all his cars painted yellow because he was colour blind to a wide colour range after damaging his eyes welding tank armour during the war.
