Hi!
Does anyone have experience with changing the fuses in the Peugeot RCZ (1.6 THP 2012) battery fuse box. I would greatly appreciate it if anyone has a story to share about how easy/difficult it is to access them. Maybe even pictures of the location inside the fuse box?

Re: RCZ over battery fuse box
Just remove the cover and fuses are easily seen (assuming engine fusebox).

Re: RCZ over battery fuse box
Thank you for your answer, but I didn't mean the engine compartment fuse box, but the fuses over the battery.
As far as I know there are six fuses and that one I'm interested in is: F3 5 A which is related to battery charge unit. When I turn on the ignition, a warning appears on the dashboard after a few seconds: Battery charge or electric supply fault. When I start the car, the warning changes to a red battery symbol which disappears some time after a while and appears back some time. I know this can get expensive, but if it's just the fuse, my sister thank the Lord... (BSI reset didn't work)
I have get this instruction before: If it has a thp engine, there is an alternator control module that shares a fuse with the turbo cooling pump, the failure of which is quite common

Re: RCZ over battery fuse box
I think the best thing is to provide your VIN so I can see if I have an electrical Diagram. Please post your VIN in full without spaces - it will be automatically masked from public view after submitting your post & will only be visible to staff.
EPCDT and EP6CDT M have Fuse F4 (5A) for the battery Charge Status Unit, not F3. F3 is for the dual function Brake Switch.

Okay, here comes the VIN: VF3**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]
This is all I know about the fuse:

Re: RCZ over battery fuse box
Ok, so the reason for the conflicting info as these can be supplied with 2 types of supplies protection units and yours has a different one, and this is F3 5A as shown. Other units with the BFDB unit have a different fuse allocation and this is probably why it shows as F4 in the allocation.
In your case it is handled by 1032 and the BCSU is shown at 1031, with the wire (J1031 going directly to the electrical supplies protection & management unit F3).
With the exception of the wiring codes, most of the component codes are indexed here:

Re: RCZ over battery fuse box
I noticed that. I can replace all the fuses if needed

Re: RCZ over battery fuse box
I finally figured out the physical location of the (normal) fuses in over the battery fuse box
This instruction was BS: If it has a thp engine, there is an alternator control module that shares a fuse with the turbo cooling pump, the failure of which is quite common. The turbo coolant pump fuse is located in the engine compartment fuse box (F21 5A).
The battery fuse box voltage module can also be found separately...
