That Clio blue looks lovely Shame they forgot to spray a top-coat on Land Rover... I suppose it keeps the price down a little bit if they leave it in primer...

Re: Favourite colours for cars
A few months ago we had a dalliance with white cars and this morning I came across this one which I think we missed. Ideal if you are planning a bank raid!!

Re: Favourite colours for cars
The first spot of the new 74 reg was on a new Landrover Defender. Back in 2015 as Land Rover, were bringing production of the traditional Defender to a close, they collaborated with Paul Smith the designer to produce a Special Edition.. We have seen an example of the Paul Smith special edition mini on the FCF.
The demise of the old Defender spawned the Ineos Grenadier to more faithfully produce a continuation of the original Defender on more traditional lines, while the revival by Land Rover of the Defender name in 2020, was a newly designed vehicle.
More a point of interest than a favourite colour, the Paul Smith special edition of the last of the traditional Land Rover Defenders is discussed in this shortish video

Re: Favourite colours for cars
Need to get the number of replies on the thread off the number of the beast so here is reply 667.
On Morris Minor Traveller Day, its unusual, but I would take a photo of it if I saw it out in the wild, one of the WB brothers describes it as a "beige-ey green", doesn't sound promising...10 points for anyone who comes back with the official BMC/ Morris colour for this...

Re: Favourite colours for cars
That's not the one I was thinking of Mick, Mimosa Yellow appears a bit later in this set of paint charts. 1971 does have a colour Limeflower, which if you search Limeflower Morris Minor comes up with some very adjacent looking vehicles in colour to the one at WB and Sons

Yes I agree there Neil, further evidence here. At least I remembered a colour from the right company!!

Re: Favourite colours for cars
A small gallery of other vehicles in Limeflower. I do think the MGB looks good/interesting or both in Limeflower and not that many made. This one for sale here has loads of excellent pics, and looks good in its original navy interior.
Neil
There is some debate in MG circles whether a character in one of the Bond films drove an MGB in Limeflower. The character name had the initials MG and was played by Britt Ekland.

Nice to see an early Limeflower Marina Coupe in the gallery Neil A rather pleasant colour to my eye. The Mini looks particularly good in it...
