I have a 2016 Citroen Berlingo Auto 1.6 BlueHDI
I think it has an intermittent BSI Fault.
It will randomly flag engine management lights, come to a stop it has stop start, and suddenly not start, if you try to start it more than 3 x it loses its gearbox. But all will resolve some time after removing the key,
It's had a new starter, relays and fuses, and will drive for an hour before misbehaving or 5 minutes.
So if anyone has any tips, fuses to check, or advice on replacing the BSI, im concerned I'd end up with the wrong programming for the automatic.
Anyways, any advice welcome, I know alot might be guess work, but ideas are a place to start.
Thanks Ben

Re: Hi, any advice welcome please
You'll have a lot more issues than that if you try replacing the BSI! These are specifically programmed and configured for the vehicle's equipment and options of course, but more than that are locked to the Engine ECU and the immobiliser chips in the fobs.
I would forget all this at the moment and get it properly diagnosed with Diagbox. You may have an entirely different issue like the engine fuse box or the Supplies and Protection Management unit - so without a professional diagnostic scan that can read all the constructor codes (i.e. not a basic code reader), I can't see you progressing to be honest.
Either that or get it to the dealership to do this for you.
