C5x7 radiator fan relay(s) location

I have a strange issue that began this morning. Unlocking the doors saw the radiator fan start up apparently on maximum speed. Engine was not started yet.

I wonder if a relay has stuck?

Maybe do a BSI Reset / Battery Disconnect / Reconnect Procedure first to cancel out any electrical gremlins Graeme.

These are designed to kick in without the engine running though (usually when the engine is hot after a run, admittedly) when required by the engine ECU to cool the engine if it's switched off too early, which is why I always advise battery disconnection before fingers go anywhere near the fan - for this very reason.

So keep an eye on the coolant temp / sensor and as you've suggested the fan relay....
