I have been more and more frequently getting a dashboard warning and ESP turning off.Diagbox points to temporary comms failure with the steering angle sensor. Before I dive in and replace the angle sensor, I want to check the canbus wiring having previously had issues a year ago with another part of the canbus wiring between ecu and abs (which caused a huge variety of problems.)
Have you guys a circuit diagram to cover the wiring from the steering angle sensor to ABS and anywhere else it goes to?
It is a 2015 C4 Grand Picasso 1.6 blue hdi exclusive.
Thanks in advance.
Intermittent comms with steering angle sensor.

Re: Intermittent comms with steering angle sensor.
I don't have this specific diagram, bit it won't help as the Steering Wheel Angle Sensor is not shown on these models.

Thanks Marc I was hoping to trace and test the canbus wiring from the angle sensor to the next connection point.

Re: Intermittent comms with steering angle sensor.
Yes, annoying, but it is shown on my C5 X7 for example, but not on any C4 Pic MK IIs that I have, oddly.
I know that some later models have it incorporated into the electronic Power Steering system, but having said that, if your car has any form of semi-automatic parking feature, they will also have a steering wheel angle sensor located in the steering wheel control unit in addition in order to determine exact position of the wheels when the car is started, otherwise it won't know absolute positioning.
