The crankshaft pulley has gone on my mum an dads car the only symptom was a slight knocking from the engine bay and when it failed they lost power steering heating and the battery charge light came on anyway i just got a quote from a citroen specialist (whos cheaper than the dealers) and hes quoted us £207.63 inc VAT to supply and fit all the parts hes changing the pulley and the crankshaft bolt and all the belts and i was just wondering how hard can it be to change it cause hes coming round to the house to fit it and i was thinking it cant be hard if hes doing it on the side of the road any ideas ??
thanks
